Take over Joe's in Cruz Bay!

Post by Exit Zero »

If you think moving to STJ and running a BBQ joint sounds like fun - here is the chance.

Hmm, I noticed there is no picture of that nasty little bathroom...

Speaking of, I wonder if Cafe Roma decided to put in restroom upstairs?

That news came as a surprise. Kimberly and Trent have a lot to keep them busy, so retiring from operating Joe's Famous Diner makes sense, but I certainly hope that the new business owners keep the place as it is. Joe's has been an institution for over 40 years; when Trent's father first set up shop, they had a direct view of the water from their porch. It would be a real shame if it changed character, or became a gift shop. If any forum members aren't already hooked on their awesome fried chicken ($4 for the largest piece), be sure to swing by and pick some up. You WILL be back! They also have great pates and burgers, ice cream, etc, and serve till 6 PM Monday to Friday (3 PM on Saturday), long after Hercules (the only other Cruz Bay fried chicken place I know of) closes up.

All the best,

Kevin
