Long Term Auto Rental

I am looking at a long term rental 3-6 months on the rock. Now my main “problem” is an auto rental. Any ideas on how to get an auto for this shorter time? Do I have to purchase one and then resell it when I leave? Is there anyone who does monthly auto rentals? And yes I know that as a “problem” this is a good one to have.

I got my long term rental from Zip on st Thomas. Lisa was very fair on her pricing and actually pro-rated my amount after I found my car to purchase sooner than expected. No one on St John would give us a discounted rate. Our selection was limited as I came the day before Jouvert in St Thomas but good ol" Bessie was my best friend for my first nineteen day so the rock.
