On Island Saturday 6/15
Good morning! It looks like another gray morning over Coral Bay...hoping to see more blue sky soon! Was thinking Waterlemon today but I was envisioning sunshine...

Family is still in bed...time to make coffee...

Re: On Island Saturday 6/15
Hi there!
Our kiddos are still in bed...too much snorkeling at Maho yesterday!
It was a great day...starfish, stingrays, turtles, barracuda, fish and an octopus! I prefer sun for Waterlemon too...makes for a prettier snorkel. Let us know where you end up heading to today...maybe we can meet up and say "hi"...
We love our villa, but don't have cell coverage at all here (Sprint).
We can get text at least.
Jo

Sherban - what you are seeing is not cloud but Sahara Dust.....
"Department of Planning and Natural Resources Commissioner Alicia Barnes last week announced an air pollution alert in the territory due to the dust from the Sahara Desert in Africa.
The dust causes the skies around the Virgin Islands to be hazy, which reduces the visibility and results in poor air quality. As a result of the dust storms and a rise in warm air, the sand rises above the desert. These sandy dust particles are transported from the North African desert westward over the Atlantic Ocean"

This is a bit last minute, but This is a good evening to invite folks over to say hi and have a drink...BYOB, just a social opportunity....let's say 5:30 - 7:30.
Cell
House
Directions- Go past smoothie stand towards Coral bay and go straight instead of bearing right down to coral bay...go up the concrete road, you'll see a sign that says "interstate .5", then another sign that says " Danger railroad crossing", then keep going to sign on right that sats "Calaloo Hill" it is a steep unsaved hill down...go down then up there will be a sign that says something like "go slow hidden driveways" we are the first driveway on the left, concrete drive with a whitish gate...come on up! Call if unsure....

Re: On Island Saturday 6/15
Much obliged for the post and text, Jim, but we were back in work mode today, tweaking Coconuts during a turnaround. Made an overly ambitious decision to change the spa water an hour and a half before new guests arrived; lots of frantic hose connections and siphons later, we made a clean getaway with maybe ten minutes to spare. Just got back to Cruz Views and my cellphone, but totally exhausted, and not up to all the curvy road between. Tomorrow is our last day on island, but staying in town; a Beach Bar get together would be easy. Cap'n Dan and Ruby? Leslie?
All the best,
Kevin and Danielle

Thanks for the invite Sherban. I didn't see it until too late though. I think I can make the beach bar tonight too. Hope to see you all there!
