We've gone thanksgiving weekend thru the 1st week of Dec, the last 2 years. Loved it. Flora and fauna are green, air and water warm. It has become our favorite time. Still not crowded. Sometimes Dec winds will kick up and water on north shore gets rough. They were surfing cinnamon. We're going before thanksgiving this year and hoping ourselves there won't be too much rain. November is their rainiest month of the year. Never were bothered with too much rain at the end of the month, never been at the beginning.

We were there the first week of November last year. The weather was great. Not as humid as the summer months. Since it was at the end of the hurricane season there was a chance of wet windy weather, but we did not see any of that. Most of the island establishments that close during hurricane season were back open. The island was not crowded.

We've been 9 times in June/July/August and once in November. So I can only compare our summer trips to one November trip, but for us, it was very rainy in November. The worst thing was that the water was really rough...and I have some scars to prove it from getting shoved into rocks in the ocean.

We were there over Thanksgiving last year and the weather was great, except the last day that had red flags flying at the beaches. But we have had rough seas in October and also December. Other than that one day, and one rainy day, it was a great time. I would go again at that time. The air temp and water temp were both great. Have a great time!

November is our favorite time with warm water and fewer tourists. The shops and restaurants have a fresh coat of paint are all open, excepting Sweet Plantains. The North Swell has kicked up once or twice, so we head to the uncrowded south shore.

Most of our visits have been in early November. The temps are warm, the water is warm - both north swells and rain are possible. I think 2011 was the worst of the north swells - so much so, that I think parking at Salt Pond went a long way down the road.

Just about everything is open and not very crowded.

i'm pretty sure Dome526 stayed at Cinnamon Bay last November and has a trip report posted.

My "normal" warning ...... we will get 7-10 days of pretty much solid cloud cover and rain in April or May and AGAIN in October or November so for 50 of the 60 days the weather will be great but it sucks if you are here for the 10 that are not - you take a chance in those 4 months

I've been starting to think about a Thanksgiving trip, but Pia's post above gives me pause. On a 10 day vacation in May a few years ago, we got about 7 days of heavy overcast & rain and mosquitoes and I said never again in May.......sounds like I better stay away from November too. Thanks for the heads up. One or two overcast or rainy days are ok, but a whole string are a bummer.
