Honeymoon Beach at Caneel
Honeymoon Beach at Caneel
We haven't been to Honeymoon Beach for a few years. But, plan to try to get there this visit.
Would love suggestions re: which days and/or times to AVOID being there. We know that New Horizons, out of St. Thomas, goes there and drops folks off to snorkel, etc. But, we are not sure specifically if there are better days to visit that beach in order to get less of a "crowded beach" feel.
Also, what is the deal/cost with the beach chair rentals there that we have heard mentioned?
Thanks in advance for any tips.

Re: Honeymoon Beach at Caneel
In February we sat on the end of Honeymoon closest to Caneel; the four or five loads of day trippers stayed mostly on the other end of the beach for roughly an hour each... no worries!
We rented each plastic Adirondack chair for $5/day at the hut ( nice to have bathrooms, lockers, etc. there)
Have fun!

Re: Honeymoon Beach at Caneel
I would imagine the crowds fluctuate with the cruise ship traffic.
We visited in November and boats came and went, but most of the visitors stayed out in the water snorkeling.
We also rented chairs instead of carrying then in.
Enjoy your trip.
