So sorry to hear. The exact same thing happened to me at Christmas. I had arrived in STJ and a few days later, my Mom got very sick. She passed before I got the chance to see her. However, we did speak briefly on the phone and I feel fortunate for that. Left STJ only a few days after arrival. God bless you and may time help ease your pain.

Oh Pat, Tommy and I send our sympathies. You and your family are in our thoughts.

Due to my mother's serious illness we had to cut our trip short. I had taken out trip insurance through CSA. I will keep everyone posted of the outcome. We were there when my Mom passed away. Very sad.

Between selling our house, packing for the move, and starting to clean out my mom's house, I finally got all the required documentation together and mailed off my CSA travel insurance claim. I will keep you updated on the outcome. US Air charged us $716 to change our flight. I would have paid twice that to be there with her when she passed away.
