what time for jost ferry
We are heading to jost for the day tomorrow. What time should we get there for an 8:30 ferry.

If memory serves, I want to say the ticket office person gets there around 8:10am or at least she did on the day we went. And though I don't recall if the ferry actually left right at 8:30am, it was pretty close.
Ferries seem to be the one thing that DON'T operate on Island Time....especially the one coming back from Jost to STJ...you definitely don't want to take any chances missing that one.
I'm a bit more conservative, so I had us there around 7:45am...I wanted to get a parking spot along that road between Mongoose Junction and the National Park Services center. At that time of the morning, there's usually a few spots left. Also gave my wife time to grab us some breakfast from Deli Grato while I went over to get in line.
