Virgin Island (The Movie) 1959

I found this on youtube. It is about a young couple who buy an island in the BVI. It is a bit cheesy but very cute. The video and audio are not very good but I could picture myself on the island.
Enjoy!

Soooo cheesy - you got to love it! Thanks for sharing
Re: Virgin Island (The Movie) 1959
This was based on Robb White's very un-cheesy book "Our Virgin Island", about Marina Cay, off the east end of Tortola. Worth watching for the super footage of Tortola, embarrassing to see Sidney Poitier as a "Yasssuh" bare-chested beefcake.

Watched it all the way through. Sweet and innocent. Unlike most movies today. We really enjoyed it!

This old romantic loved it... kinda watched all 6 YouTube parts.
Thank you!
Digging a little deeper, I found the White's story more interesting... one of their children is Bailey White, an author and NPR commentator.

George Myrick's book, Incredible Virgin Island Adventure is a similar true story... he and his wife built the Sandcastle Hotel and Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost.
