Lindy, we're making progress! She swam twice today at Salt Pond - the second time, she finally went in without her shoes on :D ! Tomorrow were going back to Maho and maybe she'll try the mask and snorkel. I explained to her that it's kind of like how she loves to sit in a big city and just watch people, cause its such a different world and you're curious... The sea is my city :)

Hi mindehankins, happy to hear Jillian is getting more comfortable in the water! I'm curious to know, did you try your wetsuit?

Yay!!!! The more she tries, the more she'll love it.....especially when she sees how much her Mom likes it. My husband was never very interested in snorkeling until he went to Maho for the first time and we swam through swarms of silversides. The sun was shining that day so they were like swimming though an irridescent cloud and THAT got him hooked. Once he got excited about that I was able to coax him farther out to see barracudas, rays, turtles and all sorts of amazing things. Have fun!!! Wish I was there.
