rides to Red Hook - Jan 12th 4pm hour?

Hi all,
Last year Rachel picked up 6 of us women in a van and got us to Red Hook.
This year, my 3 other friends all arrive in the 2 o'clock hour and I don't get in until 4:05pm. Rachel stated it would be $50 for just 1 or 2 people. Does that sound right? Will that be the price even if I end up in an "unnamed" taxi?
Coconuts Kev thinks I'd have a chance to make the 5pm ferry (especially if I don't check a bag). Not sure I'm willing to forego my food bag for 10 days.... it might just be the 6pm ferry. Oh well.

Anyone need to get from the STT airport on January 12th in the 4 o'clock hour over to Red Hook?

Yes that sounds about right. The price in a "regular" taxi (with other guests and the taxi may stop at a hotel along the way - I have never been in a taxi that goes straight to Red Hook except when I arrive home late at night) will be $15.00 per person plus $2.00 per bag but if you request a private taxi the fare is $90.00
