6 days!!!

I am really getting excited now! In one week I will be sitting on the beach having a beer and enjoying the gorgeous Cinnamon Bay! I can't believe it!
I keep thinking about all the things I think I need to pack and then I think I don;t need that stuff! We are bringing our steaks, etc with us and I am nervous about that...Do they look in the cooler and unpack it at security?
Anyway my daughters surgery went fantastic and I can go with a peaceful and thankful heart knowing she is going to be fine!

Looks like we're arriving the same day. I'm jumping out of my skin! So excited for my 7th trip. Woot!

Glad to hear you got some good news before you left. The best thing to do is to practice being on Island Time. Breathe in, breathe out, move on.

If you are carrying the steaks on the plane, pack them in some kind of transparent wrapper. In my experience, the X-ray machine prompts a search. I generally tell them that it is meat before they open it. They see the first few packages and are satisfied. They tell me to zip it up and have a reat trip.

So, my instructions to you are, zip it up and have a great trip.

Good news for you and your daughter! Don't worry about the meat or the FDA thingy. They've peeked in our cooler, saw that it was frozen meat, and never bothered us about it. It'll be fine.
