vow renewal

thinking about doing this over spring break in late march. am looking for suggestions for your favorite/most scenic spot on the north shore...?

Will you be just two of you or a group? Formal or informal? I know most people refer to vow renewal in front of a JP or priest or other. We have renewed our vows to each other in many different places at many different times without a witness (unless you consider the pelicans in Francis Bay) over the course of 30 years. StJ has been a place where we have done it a few times.

Just two or a small group formal or informal - Saloman
Formal group - Peace Hill @ sunset, Trunk Bay around sunrise, Trunk Bay around sunset (no-seeum issues), The Trunk Bay overlook???
Just two - in Francis Bay, or Maho @ sunset with a bottle of champagne.

I guess my favorite place on StJ that I have renewed my vows was on the trail back from Saloman with two chairs, a cooler and a beach bag at or just after dusk even after having forgoton the mosquito repellent and a flashlight (a rarity when we are on StJ). I figured that coverd the for better or worse.

thanks for the reply toes. will be just the two of us and informal but a surprise for my wife. right now from reading old posts i'm thinking hawksnest in the am with "anne marie" as the officiant. since it will be a surprise i have to figure out what kind of story i can cook up to get her dressed/makeup a bit in the am. nothing too fancy but i'd like to have some good photos and she'd kill me if i took her out there in shorts and a tee shirt! any recommendations for photography? i figured i'd sneak a bottle of champagne and pick some flowers wherever i could find them...

any other suggestions would be welcome

I highly recommend Steve Simonsen as a photographer . He took pics for us in Oct. on Trunk Bay & Cinnamon Ruins to celebrate our 25th anniversary !!!
