I finally put our trip report together from last week... boy were we lucky leaving just in time to avoid Hurricane Sandy and come back to power!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the trip report! Loved the pics and videos. Looks like you had a great time despite having to worry about the US storm.
How did you like the location of the villa as far as getting to the north shore beaches etc? I never know what area to rent in! Thanks again for the report....STJ time in 13 days..Yee haww!!

Ah, your trip report brings back memories of that snow storm last year! We met you at the Beach Bar last year after my girlfriends and I had barely escaped having to cancel our trip. And then we saw you again at the Halloween party at Skinny's. One of my girlfriends copied the jellyfish costume from last year and won a prize at a local Halloween party this year! No STJ trip for me this year though......boohoo!!!!!!

We thought the location was very ideal. You were only probably about 10 min. from town and then another 5-10 min. to the North Shore beaches. Once you get used to the driveway it isn't too bad. Then again my husband drove the entire time

Now back to reality and now a snowstorm - ugh! Its going to be a LONG winter!

Great TR! At first I felt bad that you didn't get a lot of good beach time but looking at that villa, I can understand just wanting to stay there and enjoy. What a gorgeous house and view!

Great report! That villa looks lovely, it isn't often you see a yard!

You did the St. John Catering grill packs? I'm thinking about doing that for our upcoming trip. Did you need to order the 4 person minimum for each meal or could you split it between choices?
