Please help find Delta a home.

One of our fabulous forumites - Betty - is on a mission and has asked me to post this here as well. She will pay all expenses and escort Delta to her new home. From her Facebook page.........

ATTN; MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS, IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ADOPTING A DOG, THIS IS THE GIRL FOR YOU!!! I AM WILLING TO ESCORT AND PAY TO FLY DELTA TO ANY LOCATION IN THE USA!!! A very sweet Delta is in need of a family to love, if any of my Facebook friends ARE looking to adopt a new family member let me know. She really is a sweetie!! Yesterday Tracy Tracy Fleck Pajewski walked her and after the walk she jumped up and gave Tracy a big kiss!!

"Delta needs a family. She came to us October of 2010 and for the last 2 years she has watched so many doggies get adopted. She is patiently awaiting her turn, and after 2 years at the Shelter, it really is time for her to find the love of a family. She is fully recovered from her knee surgery; she may walk a little slower but she is still the sweetest girl who has so much love to give. Delta is a fan favorite - please share her pic and help her find the home that she is so deserving of. Now that we are heading into mid-October, dogs can start flying to the states again. October is pit-bull awareness month; Let's rally and help Delta find her best friend. Two years is long enough to wait".

Please if you are considering adopting a dog PLEASE consider Delta - she really is a wonderful dog.

I had the absolute pleasure of walking Delta yesterday. She is such a sweet, friendly girl and would be a blessing to any family. Beth's offer should be seriously considered by anyone who thinks this great dog might be for them. As mentioned, even before I took Delta for a walk, she excitedly ran up the stairs and gave me a big kiss!

She walked well on a leash, not a sign of her previous knee surgery. And she leaned In to me each time i stopped to give her some love during our walk. She is so deserving of a family and will return your love over and over.

No Connie - Delta is NOT adopted (not sure how you got confused lol) Betty from this forum is offering to pay all expenses and escort Delta herself anywhere in the USA to a suitable family that wants to adopt her. She has been at the ACC for 2 years and has seen all her "friends" get adopted out. She is a fabulous dog she just needs a chance. If you are on Facebook you can go to the ACC site and "share" Betty's offer on your page - the more shares we get the better Delta's chances.

I just sent this link to a friend who lost her dog to illness over the summer. It's a long shot, but Delta is so cute maybe I can talk her into it.

I'd love her for myself, but I think I have my hands full with one. (We dog-sat for over the weekend and it was a bit crazy -- the guest dog and our dog competed with each other nonstop for our attention.)
