difference between PM (private message) and IM (instant)
difference between PM (private message) and IM (instant)
Help a girl out please,
Is there a difference on the forum between a private message (PM) and an instant message (IM)?
I am trying to contact Anthony to add our travel dates to the forum members on island but have not been sucessful. Anthony are you out here?

I have never seen the IM. The Private Message should work fine!

The only place that IM is referenced is above the Virgin Islands online travel calendar
Welcome to the Virgin-Islands-On-Line travel calendar. Registered users of Virgin-Islands-On-Line forums can have their travel dates posted here to let other users know when and where they are on island. To get your dates posted here, send and IM (Instant Message) to Anthony (the webmaster here). You have to be registered on our forum system to have your dates posted on this calendar. You can also subscribe to this calendar by clicking on the "Google Calendar" button above (you will need a Google account to use this feature).
I have sent Anthony a few PM messages requesting that he add me to the calendar but have not been added. I had the best time meeting up with forum members on our last trip and wanted to do so again. Based on tickers, it looks like our trip overlaps with some other in October 2012.

He Means PM (private message)
As the person that used to manage the forum calendar, I can tell you that at times, it is tough to keep up with all the requests. Life and family and everything else get in the way as well.
I know that when I managed it, I set the expectation of a few days to get to it and even then it was hard.
I am sure he is just busy, he will get to it

xisland girl,
I so get that life gets in the way. I am a major offender of letting my life get in the way of the stuff I really, really want to do. Since one request was over a month ago and one was last week, I thought maybe I was doing it wrong.

Sorry my bad it is supposed to say PM not IM and I thought (honestly!) that I fixed that forever ago...
But - I am up to date on calendar additions as far as I know - maybe there is something in the MGMT account that I have not seen... I will check everything, right now.
Thanks -
