In the planning stages...need viila help
Hey all,
I'm in the planning stages for our 4th trip to St John for next June.
We belong to Starwood and I have been able to trade our unit in Scottsdale for a unit at the Westin. One other time, we came with my sister and her husband and rented Golden Dragon.
The problem is...availability at the Westin has become next to impossible to exchange. So, I am thinking about converting my timeshare to star points and using them for airline tickets. I have enough points for 2 ff tickets.
So....I need villa help. I have searched vrbo and the villa management companies but, some first hand knowledge would be invaluable. I am looking for a 1-2 bedroom, a/c, pool and I don't care which side of the rock I stay on. A view would be nice but, I don't like scary driveways.
My budget is $1200-$2000.
Thanks in advance!!!!

If there are just 2 of you Stone Harbor might work.

It's not only not scary, but it is walking distance to Cocolobo and Island Blues. Even though it has a 2nd loft bedroom, I wouldn't recommend it for 2 couples. We stayed there last November and really liked it. The owners were very responsive and it is managed by Mark Miller.
Not a villa, but has what you need - there are 4 units with shared pool in Frank Bay. Will be staying here in November. Again the owners are very nice. I think Dolphina has 2 bedrooms; the others have 1 bedroom.

One other is Anchorage Aweigh. Not a scary driveway, but a few switchbacks going up SeaGrape Hill (Coral Bay). Owned by forumite Seagrape and her husband. We stayed here a couple of years ago.

Happy hunting.

Check out Blue Tang. It is a 2 bedroom villa, nice location and managed well. Pool and island decor.
