Grande Bay Villas

Post by waterbug »

I am looking for a 1 bedroom unit for 4 nights starting November 19th (checking out Friday, November 23rd). I want to be on an upper floor so I can have a view. What should I be looking for (floor, building, names of units, etc)? Any suggestions will be welcome.

We are getting ready for my second stay at this place. It's great, and we loved it last time. Happy to provide more info if you'd like. The photos on the site are accurate, too. There's an availability calendar on the site. The owners are in NC and lovely.

Look on vrbo.com You can enter the dates of your stay and it will show availability. We stayed at Grande Bay last winter and will again next winter. It's a great place and we really enjoyed it.

Most of the listings on vrbo will have a picture of the view from the balcony so you can get a feel for what you will see!

We stayed in enjoyed both of these units - rented directly from owners through vrbo

We were in the front building, third floor up. The views were beautiful. We rented through SniqueAway and none of the paperwork (I save everything) has a room number on it.

We are staying at Buena Vida in October and it looks to be available. I think someone already posted the link:

Haven't stayed there before but we will do a trip report when we get back. It is a penthouse unit on the top floor on the first level of condo's. It is on the very end so you have no neighbors on the east side. It looks really beautiful. Good luck with your search!
