Would someone please remind me how to get to the beach for two shown above? As in, swim from X beach to the right/left, how far of a swim it is, etc. (Sorry - I know that's not the name ("beach for two"....just don't know how else to describe it.) Thanks!

It appears to be Cinnamon, in which case you walk all the way east (if you're looking at the water, head to the right). At the east end of the beach there are boulders, and there isn't any swimming required, just some wading or scaling the rocks.

Its not Cinnamon...Its near Gibney...You swim to the right from Gibney..you cant see it from the shore..its past what appears maybe to be a sunken boat...not sure if its a boat but definetly a beam of some sort...but just keep on swimming...and you will find it..heres another shot of it...

I think the "beach for two" may be known as the "Mermaid's Chair"; Gerald Singer calls it "Very Little Hawksnest Beach".

Ah, from further out I can tell that it's not Cinnamon :)

Fantastic photos! Sounds like a spectacular vacation, but isn't every vacation on St. John spectacular?

Between Trunk and Peter bay...and yes the snorkeling was good...but once you get to the shallow part, getting out of the water into Windswept was hard..very rocky and rough water.

So, you can snorkel from Trunk all the way to Peter Bay? Peter Bay is private except by water, is that correct? How long does the snorkel take? We swam from the beach at Leinster out around Waterlemon and back and stayed in the water about 3 hours the day we did that. It wouldn't be anymore strenuous than that, correct? And Windswept is in between. Hmmm, I'd never even heard of that one.

Yep, that's it. I've never heard it called "The Mermaid's Chair" before, but it's definitely a little beach surrounded by those dark rocks, perfect for two.

My wife and I call it, "Little Chocolate Hole." It's fun and if you walk to the very right of Gibney and enter the water there, it only takes about 5 or 10 minutes to snorkel over there.

Good times.
