Villa Search for Next July
Villa Search for Next July
Hi all - I know I have already asked about villas and received some ideas but just looking at the airfare prices I might have to be more reasonable on villas or at least look. I hope the airfares come down as have lots of time but want to get ideas in case the fares remain the same over the next 6 months.
Last summer we stayed at Casa Bueno and loved it for our family of four. This year have looked at Bay Rum Breeze as a possibility has always looked wonderful to me. Can you give me some ideas on other villas in mid-island to Coral Bay with preferably 3 bedrooms have two kids girl and boy (15 and 11). Villa must have air in at least bedrooms, great view and pool.
Thanks for any help. Looking in the $3,000 range for July 2013.

h,
if you liked casa b location, how about summerwind that is just below cb and handled by carvillas. we've stayed at both and enjoyed both but s wind has too many steps for old folks. except for steps and bedroom disparity for multiple couples i'd rate sw about equal to casa b. views and accessibilty the same. sw has benefits of greatroom away from bedrooms, exceptional master with huge bath and outdoor shower and your kids could have own bedrooms that are side by side and just below master. sw front vernada, comfy chairs and table are similar to cb. has full ac but we didn't use in april (nor did we use ac at cb in august).
i believe the 4 person rate is around 2800 and while i can't remember her name, sw is handle by a special greeter who owns sea spirit out near salt pond and she's most accommodating (marc miller equivalent).
also we stayed at casa b before pool was heated and water was cold as is water in pool at sw. kids can stand it i'm sure but the thin skinned blue hairs in our group found too cold!
i hope to stay at bay rum breeze someday but the wife says the stj trip and driving to the beaches are too much for her and she would not be going back. hoping for a guy trip this fall but as in pass will be on the cheap.
happy hunting

We will be back next June for our 3rd stay at Bay Rum Breeze. We've found our "perfect villa" up on Mamey Peak. The views are stunning and it's peaceful and quiet and the house has everything that we want in a villa including location, parking, pool, hot tub, fabulous kitchen. It's great for our whole family or just the two of us. I think it's the only villa we've rented 3 years in a row.
If your budget is a bit tight, Summerwind is a very good option. We've stayed there twice.

We leave for Casa Beuno in 96 days and I cannot wait!! We stayed at Amarilla villa In Coral Bay and it was slightly over $3000 with 3 bedroom, heated pool, hot tub, amazing outdoor space, the view was crazy insane!! Let me know if you need any further info or pictures !

Thanks EagleRayLover will check into Amarilla Villa. If you have not stayed at Casa Bueno you will absolutely love it. The view is fantastic and the house is just a great layout. In the morning I was the first one up to go out to the wonderful deck with a cup of coffee and just relax before everyone else was awake. Any questions feel free to ask. If we can not decide on another villa we can always come back to Casa Bueno but I like to try new experiences/villas and somewhat different views. Have a fabulous time - wish I was going in 96 days too.
