Jeep rental question

I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find any results, so here goes:

Have any of the forum members had any experience with L & L Jeep Rental in St. John? Our usual rental company is sold out, and the rates and location for us are good, but I want to know what others think.

Please let us know if you have any experiences or know anything about them.

We rent from them every year and love them! Kurt and Levi are awesome, and they meet you at the dock with your Jeep. We have a ressie for next month as well. Have always been satisfied, and have never had any issues.

I will echo what chrisn posted and add that L&L has always had the newest jeeps I have seen on island.

Our group used L&L for the past two years. We had five jeeps the first year and four the second. They met us at the dock when we arrived and quickly got us on our way. All of the jeeps were in great condition and we had no problems. We would use them again no question.

We will be using them for the first time end of July. One thing I didn't realize is the 10am return policy. Aren't most rentals done in 24hr increments even if it's a week rental. We won't be on Island till 3:30 and hoped to keep our liberty till 11:30 the following Sunday, do you think they will work with us on this ? I haven't wanted to call and bug them about it just thought i'd ask when they meet us on arrival.

We've rented with two agencies on St. John and had late departure flights both times. Neither agency would let us have a late drop off time. I think they need their cars by 10 so they can ready them for pick up by the next renter.
That's one of the issues that has us renting on STT now.

Try C&C I believe they rent in 24 hour increments (do check though)

Last time we were on island we requested from L&L a later drop off time, it wasn't much 11:30 or so I think. They were very accomodating.

We use them twice a year and have been doing so for 6 years and as the other posters say, Kurt and Levi are very good guys and I would not ever think of changing.
