Villa help for possible 2nd trip July/Aug. 2013

Post by Hawaii »

Hi All - You were all so helpful for our trip last year. We ended up at Casa Bueno with our family of four. We will be making a decision soon whether it will be Disney in January or STJ in the summer. Our 11 year old daughter wants to go to Disney while the rest of us want STJ (she is at the age where it will be our last trip to Disney)but all I keep thinking about is STJ. Also, pulling them out of school at this age is getting harder for the kids to make up the work.

Yes, I know it is our decision as we are the parents. Anyway, thinking about villas for the summer just to get an idea. We have two kids 11 and 14 one girl, one boy so 3 bedrooms is better. Want a great view and pool in Bordeaux Mt area or Coral Bay. We loved, loved Casa Bueno (Thanks Pia for the great suggestion)!!! but would like to try a different villa in that price range around 3,000 to 3,500 for the week. Would rather inside access but outside would be ok depending on the layout. Any new villas since our trip? Thanks for any help!

Bay Rum Breeze is not far from Casa Bueno. It's about a 2 minute drive from the smoothie shack at the intersection of Centerline and North Shore Roads.

It has 3 bedrooms, but one of them is in a separate pod, though that might be a good thing.

There are two bedrooms in the main house, the lower bedroom has twin beds and the upper has a king. The separate bedroom also has a king. The pool area is really nice and has awesome views.

Thanks so far. Bay Rum Breeze is definitely one of our choices so far. We made a decision tonight that we will go to STJ next summer so the villa hunt is on. Keep the suggestions coming.

I was also going to recommend Bay Rum Breeze. I usually don't give advice about what someone else's kid may or may not be comfortable doing but the 14 yo might like the seperate pool room, which is actually pretty close to the main house door.
