Public Parking in Cruz Bay?

Post by tochin »

I know this has been discussed here before but man I searched older posts and could not find the thread.

So, apologizes for repeat questiosn but.....

Where can you park in Cruz Bay if you are renting a car from STT?

I know there was a pay lot on the main street between the ferry and the Beach Bar but what other places can you drive by to see if there are any spots available?

Thanks for the repeat answers.

Near the tennis courts is a newish gravel parking lot. It's next to the car ferry lot.

Can you still park in any available spaces next to the public bathroom where the taxi row starts? Usually there are no spots but if there is, can you park there as well?

Yes you can, like you said, if there is an open space.

Best choices are the lots by the tennis courts on both sides. One mentioned before is the newer one and largest, and the other is in front of the giant water tank at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles lot.

Parking at Mongoose Junction is for patrons there, I would not risk getting booted. A big fine and pain in the bafoon.

There is some parking along the street by the National Parks ball field.

Enjoy your trip, we just returned Wednesday night.

Parked in the lot by the tennis court every time we were in town...free, and always a space (even in Feb, Pres week)...helped walk the food and drink off on the way back!!!

There used to be a sign by the bathrooms of 45 minute parking and last year they were booting/towing. I will have to see if the sign is still there - I thought it was.
