Came across a blog for a family of 5 who are taking a year or so off and travelling the world. It was a little difficult to navigate, but it's been an interesting world tour, and I look forward to poking around more at this site:

Wow, that's so cool!

I took an Improv class last week at Second City in Chicago and one of my classmates was a guy from Australia who is taking a year to travel around the world with his girlfriend. They loved Chicago (yea!) and I thought it was really great that he took a class while he was here.

I often get travel envy. Not sure I'd have the guts to chuck it all and travel for a year... but I sure like thinking about it!

My dad and an Army buddy went around the world after they finished their time in Korea. It was something he always wanted me to do. (I never did)

What a fantastic experience for that family. I bookmarked the blog.
