Fish Bay villa

Post by jess116000 »

Has anyone stayed in Fish Bay? We are staying there for the 1st time this week. Im not sure Ive even been to that side of the island  We are staying in the 2 bedroom modern home in Fish Bay. Im not sure of the name...at least there was no name that I could find! That is the description on Homeaway.com. Any good snorkeling spots in this area? How far is it from Cruz Bay/ Coral Bay? Thanks

We have stayed in upper Fish Bay, being at the top of the mountain adds about 5 minutes so it depends where you're staying but I would count on 15 to 20 minutes to Cruz Bay and 25 to Coral Bay.

We LOVE Fish Bay... It's so quiet and peaceful and not far from Cruz Bay. We've stayed in Coral Bay before, and we much prefer Fish Bay... Simply because of the location to Cruz Bay. There's nothing to see snorkeling wise in Fish Bay, but we truly believe it's the quietest area... I hope you agree....

We just stayed up on the mountain @ Fish Bay in a place called Palm Vista/Little Palm. Awesome views. Great place. A LOT of one-lane switchbacks to get up to it. Not far to 'Town'. We didn't really explore the beaches on that side. We fell in love with the North Shore.

I'd love to stay out there again though!

Awesome! Thanks for all the info! It's hard to believe I've never even driven to that side of the island before! Sounds like it will b perfect for us. Quiet but close enough to town. The place we are staying is owned by the owners of pink papaya gift shop. Anyone stayed at their villa? I can't wait to get there!

I don't think there's a bad place to stay on stj, We have never stayed in a place twice and have bounced all over the island. We stayed out at Fish Bay at Daffodil Villa last fall and loved the views. We were pretty high up and it was great and sooooo quiet. The drive to Cruz Bay was all right, but we did miss a little bit not having the proximity to the Coral Bay beaches. We have stayed out even farther in the Reef Bay area which really is a drive.
