Birthday Bash Trip report- Birthday Bash Day

Post by Xislandgirl »

After Chip went to sleep I covered the kitchen counter with 40 cards from all our friends and family. So he woke up and had an hour of opening cards.

We cleaned up and met Clark at customs and headed off to Chilly Billys for breakfast. It was very yummy.
We decided that we were all a little worse for wear after all the painkillers the day before on the day sail so we decided to lay low and do some shopping. I got my STJ hook at Coral Bat jewelers and we all hit STJ Spice.

We decided to have a drink and something to eat at the Beach Bar. I had the Tuna Bites and they were great. Michelle says hi!

On the way back to the villa we stopped at Baked in the Sun to pick up the birthday cake. Chocolate cake with whipped cream filling w/strawberries and bananas. Sounds weird but it was incredible.

We all cleaned up and headed to Zozo's. Here is my review in one word. INCREDIBLE. Are you ready for the food porn?

Awesome Food Porn.
I have to ask, though.
How did the ZoZo's staff react to you photographing the food? Are they getting used to this yet?!! The whole scenario kind of cracks me up.
If I'm ever in a restaurant here and someone starts taking photos of the food and I say "Oh, is that for the virgin-islands-on-line Food Porn?", will I seem a little weird?

I told John that I would be taking pictures of Food Porn and he just laughed. He seemed to know what I was talking about.

Sounds like he had a happy bday to me. I would be mad at you for posting those Zozo's pics but since I get to go in a few days, I can handle it!

I want one of those orange drinks. Thanks for posting.
