Charters loading/unloading at NPS dock?

Post by SusieQT »

What happens to the boat captain when they get caught with "paying" customers & have to go inside the building with the NPS 'officer'?

We arrive and depart each trip, via Dohm's, at the National Park dock.

Once, we left on a day sail from the NPS dock but come to think of it, we were told ahead to time to make it snappy.

Maybe charters need to pay a fee and someone got caught trying to get away with not paying?

One of the Park rules is that you can't conduct business within the Park and receiving payment for your services is considered "conducting business". The Park Rangers will warn you a number of times then they'll give you a $125.00 ticket. More than likely that's what happened to that Captain.
