a Christmas greeting

Post by linne »

Just want to wish all my VIOL friends a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

The last two years we have had a lot of snow at Christmas time, but this year we have only seen a little. It’s not so beautiful outside without snow, but of course you don’t have so many problems.

I would like to show how different a landscape can be looking.

This is from the sea, where we have our cottage. It’s from 2010.

<a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/F ... site"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gyo0 ... 140310.JPG" height="600" width="800"></a>

It’s our grandchild on his sledge, and he was too far out, so we had to shout at him

And this picture is from 2011, taken from the same place, when the sea was very swallow.

So I’m not able to make a Christmas greeting as the one from last year.

<a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/k ... site"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WW2W ... 230136.JPG" height="600" width="800"></a>

But the wish is the same.

Linne
Seeing the photo of your grandson brought back many fond memories of my childhood with my grandparents. They had a summer place in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I have many fond memories of playing in the woods and swimming in nearby Lake. You're giving him memories that he will never forget for the rest of his life.
This year has gone by quite quickly it seems like just yesterday that you posted your Christmas pictures and I see you continued the tradition with your two log friends.

I wish you and your family a
Lystig Jul og glad Nytår, og mange glade år med dine børnebørn

I would have shouted at him too! (When I became a parent, I started to see danger everywhere)

Our Pennsylvania winter is so mild, it doesn't seem like Christmas yet. My mother planned on taking my son skiing today but there is no snow!

Merry Christmas to all.
