I AM working on my trip report,,,promise, it's saved in Word. But in the meantime I uploaded some video clips I took on youtube. 1 is black because it's just "night sounds" i took in the middle of the night the other two are of the waves,surge, surf and erosion

Wow... we saw similar waves in December '09 when we were there! It was hard to even stand in the water!

That was cool! Some serious waves though. I have never seen waves like that on STJ! We are summer folks though and have not been there for a storm.

Thanks so much for sharing. We're sitting at our computer 4 months away from our trip to CBC and enjoying the experience of almost being there!

Just returned last night and the first part of the week the waves on the NS were intense, starting on monday/tuesday. We spent sunday at Maho and it was quiet, But stopped by Hawksnest on Monday late afternoon and there was no beach and they were pounding. By wed they had quieted down.
