Trip Report Preferences?
I guess I favor a single report. I must admit that I tend to not follow installments---some of the reason being that I tend to not be that interested in knowing every detail of every day of the trip.
I guess I most enjoy a kind of subjective impression rather than a list of beaches visited, restaurants dined at, food eaten. I skip over lot of details when reading or writing a TR. The last TR I wrote was in two parts. First was a more or less objective recounting of some of the perfect moments that occurred and the particularly magical things that I'll probably savor when I'm dying as highlights of my life. The second part was thoughts, observations reflections that came to mind during or after the trip.
Mostly I write the TR for myself.
