Day 2: http://www.virgin-islands-on-line.com/f ... hp?t=21284

Day 3: http://www.virgin-islands-on-line.com/f ... hp?t=21304

Day 4: http://www.virgin-islands-on-line.com/f ... hp?t=21314

Day 5: Boat day on *Palm Tree Charters!!* :D

OOOOH! I could hardly sleep last night! I kept dreaming that the alarm didn't go off and we looked out the window and Palma Bella was gone! Luckily it was only a dream and I started peeking at the clock at 5:13 a.m. . . . 5:47 a.m. . . . 6:22 a.m. . . . oh what the heck! I'm getting up!
Coffee & breakfast sandwiches- check!
Swimsuit, cover-up, hat, no makeup-check!
Snorkel Gear, towels, sunscreen, camera in beach bag-check!
Liquid refreshments and snacks-check! check!

8 a.m. quick pick up by CODEN and we were at the NP Dock in just a few minutes with Laxcat and hubby ready to go! Capt. John was just pulling up so we all climbed aboard and headed over to the North Shore!
Image
Beautiful beaches, beautiful mega villas and wonderful tales about the history of the islands.
Image
Hawksnest Beach at Caneel Bay
Image
Tiny shacks on Peter Bay
Image
The customs house on Whistling Cay

I just love seeing St. John from the water and you would think it was a tiny island but when you are on a boat the island just goes on and on and on!
Image

Time for a little jello shot break! Black Cherry & Cruzan Coconut Rum! YUM! Cheers to all the jello shot aficionados out there! You know who you are!! 8)
Image

Moving right along, we made our way up to the *Indians* and Caves at Norman Island for unbelievable snorkeling!
Image

We saw really cool colorful fish that I don't know the name of (and our crappy underwater disposable camera sprung a leak and could not be developed) so if you want to see what I saw, just go over to Liamsaunt's trip report and that's what it looked like!! :P

Next stop: *THE WILLY T!* for lunch!!

I got the LAST Anegada swordfish special! And it was only noon! Yummy!:D
Suddenly boats came out of nowhere to tie up to the Willy T. There were no spots left so boats tied up to other boats and they had to walk from boat onto boat to get on board! What's this place like in high season :?: :?: I had a fleeting thought that I could jump off the back of the boat like some other forumites that I won't mention, but when I looked down to see how far it was I quickly changed my mind! Plus there's a sign that says no jumping so I had to follow the rules~

Image
The captain said it was time to go so off we went into the wild blue yonder . . .

Image

We took a leisurely ride over to Sandy Cay~ AHHH~
Image

And then Sandy Spit~ Double AHHHHH~

Image
See that black cloud? Rain showers a comin'mon!
Capt. John got us the heck outta there with barely a sprinkle and zoomed over to his favorite spot of all . . .
White Bay at Jost Van Dyke!! We totally chilled on the beach and we were so relaxed in my Painkiller happy place that I forgot to take pictures! You'll just have to imagine how peaceful our afternoon was~~~~ 8)

Time just flew by and the next thing we knew we were back on the boat and heading for home sweet home singing "toes in the water, ass in the sand
Not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand
Life is good today, life is good today~~~~~
I've got 2 tickets to paradise~Pack your bags we'll leave tonight!

Loving your trip report. I hope to be finished mine by tomorrow. I have to laught at your comment for not jumping off Willy T due to the sign and obeying the rules. When we were there in July we could not figure out why the kids would not jump. My 10 year old daughter did not want to break the rules so they jumped off the lower section where there is no signs. Question for you - we either went to Sandy Cay or Sandy Spit - I always thought that it was one place - now I am not sure but I think it was Sandy Cay????? What is the difference between the two. Glad you had a good time with Captain John we loved it too.

Awesome day with Captain John! My boys jumped off the top of the Willy T, but I guess I'm a rule follower too

Great report again! I'll admit it, I am a jumper ;-) Next time you gotta try! I empathize with forgetting to take pictures on White Bay- my picture volume goes way down when we get there, too. Love your final ZBB quote. Another fun read- thanks!

Sounds like so much fun! I really wanted to go out with Captain Brandi again this trip but the kids don't have passports yet. Maybe next time!

I finally got all caught up on your trip report today! :D It's great... I just love all the pictures! I think it would be nice to stay in Cruz Bay sometime, I never seem to get enough of it.

Well played, Colleen...that was a good day for sure.

You think Captain John ever feels like he's in the movie Groundhog Day? :D

What a great way to spend every day.
