Yes I am as a matter of fact. I posted on TA in the Prague forum but the responses have been very few. Just can't figure it out.

Try the Belgrade forum - I hear that they're more helpful than the snobs on the Prague forum.

Ok...thanks, I guess I just take these forums a little too "seriously" at times.

Because the Kiribati forum rarely gets any postings.

Yes!! Actually I am going in 2012 on a Girl's Getaway trip for 9 nights! First time I have said this outloud on a forum. :) All we done so far is book a really great 2 BR/2 bath apt in the 6th. I have been reading the Tripadvisor Paris forum and one called Our Paris Forum. Hope to be able to book business class on Air France with my Delta miles! :)
Good luck with your planning......

Right now I am planning for my daughter. She is headed to Paris at the end of the month to finish her M Arch studies and then will intern for the rest of the school year. We will probably head there in the springtime.
Last time we stayed in the 14th and that is where she will be staying but I am trying to figure out where we would like to stay.

Paris is such a difficult city to plan for. There is so many choices of where to stay and what to do. There is also the clash of personalities. I like to plan only the basics and go with the moment. My wife likes to plan...rather...she likes me to plan it all out.

We stayed at a rental apt on the Ile St Louis and adored it -- the Ile is very convenient, right in the middle of everything, but feels quiet and tucked away from the tourist onslaught. And the original Berthillon ice cream shop is located there, which is definitely a plus!!
