Some questions about the Google Map of St. John

I confess: I love looking at maps. Any kind of maps. Atlases, Hagstroms, globes, Zillow, any map from a rest stop, etc, no matter what it is of.

Needless to say, I study the Google map of St. John like there's going to be a pop quiz. (And Jeep Cams, but maybe that's another topic.)

So, I thought I'd ask if anyone can help me figure out what some things are. Anyone game?

1. There is a gigantic looking house at the end of Croton Rd off Bovocap Rd. It is in the middle of Great Expectations, Rava Avis, Dolphin Run, French Cap and Villa Romance. What is it? A private house, a rental?

2. What is on the black rocks between Honeymoon and Soloman Beaches? A private house, a park building?

3. What beach is in between Trunk Bay and Peter Bay? The C-shaped beach close to the cay in Trunk Bay. Is that Peter Bay beach, or is Peter Bay Beach the one that is closer to Presidio del Mar and Cinnamon Bay?

Is this the map you are looking at?

#1: I see the giant house you mentioned but it's not marked as a rental villa.

#2: The building between Solomon and Honeymoon looks like a private villa to me. Maybe belongs to the Rockefeller's! I don't know. But when we were on Solomon there is a big sign that says private property.

#3: I think the little C shaped beach between Trunk Bay and Peter Bay is Windswept Point. It's private but I've heard of people snorkeling over there from Trunk to check it out.

Chime in you local experts!! That's all I got~

That's the same map I've been looking at.

#3. Looks like Windswept Point is the answer after some Google searching confirming it. Thanks! I never heard of it before.

Anyone else know about 1 or 2?

#3 Windswept it is...we have snorkeled over a cpl times.

This is one of the pics we took while we were there..Certainly not the best shot weve ever taken, but Thats Trunk Cay on the right side of the pic..

And looking to the right of the beach you can see Cinnamon Bay...

And one of the monsters at Peter Bay in the top right corner
