goin' back

Post by loria »

house rented, jeep reserved, just need to buythe plane tickets--
we were going to to something different this summer--iceland or newfoundland--but the ease of planning STJ after such a crazy spring (DH lost his dad, his mom was dx'd with stage 4 lung cancer and my dad has been really ill, and i've been sick) kind of made it a no brainer --it's a known quantity--kids will both be otherwise occupied--so it's just the two of us for 10 days. Trying to do it on the 'inexpensive ' side--yeah, everything is relative.....) we are lucky to have this time. maybe see some of you in August!

Well, congrats at no longer being "tickerless."

Sorry for all the health concerns with your family, wishing you all the best and a great vacation!

Sounds as if you two need a nice vacation together. Relax, sit back, soak up the sun, enjoy!! 8)

Interesting order of tasks...we always buy our plane tickets first because the prices are so volatile. If I did the villa first I could end up paying $1200 each for our flight instead of $500. Is it not like that by you?

Congratulations on getting this far. There's nothing like a trip to ST. John to help with the healing. See you in August.

We buy the plane tix first most times. Still smarting from the $2,800 for four Thanksgiving week. You can pick your price or pick your week.

tickets bought--and for slightly less than they were the other day... early arrival, and late return...
