Coral Bay Romance

Post by cmw5682 »

Today is our 5th and we'd like to eat somewhere a little nicer. I had planned on eating at Zozo's but my DH loves this side of the island and has no intention of driving back into Cruz Bay unless necessary. Can anyone recommend where we should eat on the Coral Bay side? Thanks!

My vote is Sweet Plantains if they are open. I also heard that they now have a price fixed before 6 p.m. Excellent food and Prince makes amazing cocktails too.

Enjoy and happy anniversary!

We don't get out to Coral Bay much at night but when we do it is either Sweet Plantains or Shipwreck Landing. I love the Erotic Martini (I think that's what it is called, I call it that!) made by Prince.

Sweet Plantains for sure!

We also really like Sweet Plantains. The only other option I might look into is Chateau Bordeaux. I have no idea what's happening there currently, but it's a spectacular location.

Aqua Bistro seems to be getting a lot of rave reviews lately on the forum.
Plus, it's Friday and they have a special dish tonight. The name of the dish eludes me at the moment, but I've heard great things about it.
Wherever you go, enjoy your night and congrats on your fifth!

Well, sounds like you have decided, but my vote would be Aqua Bistro. I love it there at night among the foliage and lights and the food is fabulous and presented nicely in a romantic setting! Can't speak for Sweet Plantains, never tried it because hubby doesn't care for their type food. Or Miss Lucy's at night by the water would also be romantic!

If you like your food spicey then Sweet Plantains is the best choice. I personally love Aqua Bistro and Shipwreck Landing.
