Awesome KC concert in Lexington last night!

...with a surprise performance by George Jones! Uncle Kracker and Billy Currington were there as well. Any other forum members there?....supposably George Jones was a surprise even to Kenny! Very fun night!!

We were there. It was indeed a great show! Seemed odd that Uncle Kracker didn't join Kenny on stage for "when the sun goes down" and that Kenny and George didn't do the song of theirs from "Hemingway's Whiskey". But a fantastic concert, great crowd, fun night!

So glad you were there too! That was strange indeed... Especially Uncle Kracker not singing with Kenny during "When the Sun Goes Down"..I've heard lots of speculation re that! I was bummed then, because I love hearing them sing that one together!!
I was so surprised to see George Jones that I didn't even think about their song until later

Still...best concert I've seen in a long time!!!

Kygirl - hope all is going well over your way. We've not seen the sun in a min. of 4 days...I can handle the rain, but give me a ray of sunshine every now and then.

Listen - how is the flooding in both your areas? We went up around Owensboro on Saturday and everything is flooded. Here at home, we are ok, we sit on high ground, but lower down in the bottom land in our county, is soaked. Nothing like the folks down on the Mississippi. Terrible and tragic for sure.

I've been to 2 KC shows so far this year and both times Kracker joined him on stage for When the Sun.. and another song. Also, Billy joined him for Tractor. I'm surprised to hear Kracker didn't join him at this show.

How cool for you all that you were there for KC's George Jones surprise. I would have loved to have seen his reaction.

Hi Coden! I'm glad to see you back, and you have an anninversary trip very soon! Congratulations!
The weather here is killing me! They just said on the news that we had a record low high today by 9 degrees! (does that make any sense at all? I think I know what they meant.)

Billy did join Kenny for tractor, and I've seen Kracker join him for several songs in the past, but something must have been up this time.

KYG - are you guys making the trip up to River Bend in June to see Kenny w/ Zac Brown? We are considering it. The timing isn't great, so it may be a day before decision.
