The big 5-0....

Post by Heather-in-MA »

As in DAYS...

Getting close now...

Time to start collecting things on the vacation list, hound the husband about what he is doing with the hound dog and how are we getting to the airport, find a bathing suit....ask the important questions on VIOL, like what kind of beverages for the beach? & pray that my leg/back injury(or something) settles down.

I can't wait!
:D

We alway bring a couple of nalgene bottles for our hip pack when we are hiking. For beach days we mix up our favorites without ice in the nalgenes. Then we put them in our cooler on ice.... When we are ready to have a drink we pour the 'concoction' over ice in a disposable cup and enjoy a cool cocktail. We also just love a cold beer on the beach. Ideas for concoctions are endless, several flavors of rum and various fruit juices, always with fresh grated nutmeg, also love gin & tonic with limes we slice and put in a zip lock bag. ( also great for Coronas) Hope you have a great trip! Maybe we'll run into you!
