Pic of the Day (Monday)

Post by surfnh »

Sorry, day late, we're on island time!

The problem with STJ is that the beaches are so freaking crowded!

Two shots of the day since we're late....this one is for mahojim, taken from maho and we have the bug bites to prove we were there at sunset!

Denis Bay is a lot calmer in that picture than it was the last time I was there!
Come see us!

Denis bay is one of my favorite beaches. We always set up down by Perkins Cay. You have me wanting to move on down the beach. Beautiful.

Well have to report that I cheated on that one, but not with photoshop. It was actually taken with the Olympus stylus tough we picked up this winter after our previous one died. While figuring out the new menu system noticed it had a panoramic option. It's very cool, lines up the shots automatically in a gun-sight on the back screen with a target, when the two align the camera automatically takes the next pic! Hey, maybe all cameras work this way, but it's cool for sure.

For the sunset pic my wife ripped out her Nikon.
