4 BR villa around Dec 18 with low holiday rates?

Post by stjchica »

Anyone know of a villa that has 4BR with pool/AC and is safe that has low holiday rates? I found a 3BR with low holiday rates but need 4...
I am attempting to wade through all the listings as we speak...thanks for any leads... :D

What's your budget?

Try VRBO and if there is anything close to what you want to pay, email the owner and see if that's their "best"rate for that time! They may be willing to lower it a bit to have the booking done!

We stayed about 4 years ago at Starlit Escape in the Coral Bay area. Very reasonable prices (we went over New Years which is typically a pricey week so we look for affordable rates.)

3 bedrooms and 1 sleeping loft (accessible via a ladder from the 3rd bedroom) with interior access from the main floor; and one bedroom suite with exterior access. For privacy reasons, 3rd bedroom and loft are mostly appropriate for kids, since whoever is in the loft can look down onto the 3rd bedroom.

There was no AC but in December we didn't need it - ceiling fans and breezes kept us cool.

The pool is small, but the kids enjoyed it. We also liked the "happy hour tower" - great for star gazing and enjoying beverages.

I did a review but you can PM me if you are interested and have any specific questions.

I would also recommend Starlit Escape - it is a very nice house - clean and in great repair - everything yo need is there - there is a nice view from the happy hour tower - the rates are very reasonable and Jared an Angie were great to work with. We would stay there if it were wheelchair accessible.

the 4 bedroom villas that we have stayed at:

Anole - 4 equals, incredible views; I think this villa is getting a little run down

Great Turtle Villa - 4 equals; lots of room

Great Expectations - very large, pool and hottub

La Mer - 4 equals, great views, outdoor dining only,

This year we are renting Casa Luna

By the way, I think low season ends around December 16 or so.

I think we are just going to have to look at a different time of year. My son is graduating college and was hoping to go in Dec...but it is just so much more expensive for a 4 BR at holidays...Might have to wait til early June..in low season.
