villas Christmas rates???

Hey guys...
What do the villa rental companies consider as the time for the "Christmas" rates?
Is it a date that specifically includes the 25th or what? Trying to avoid the higher rate..Thanks!!

typically its the two weeks that include christmas and new year holidays
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

from what I'm seeing the start around the 15th of Dec. and go to the 5th of Jan
