now, I don't usually look at that STJ weather forecast....
now, I don't usually look at that STJ weather forecast....
but this is ridiculous!
We arrive next Saturday for 7 days.....it shows sunny all week this week, and total rain starting Saturday for 7 days!!!
ok, we've been there enough not to stress out about this, but really, c'mon, is someone just playing with our heads here????

Well, you're right, you should know better than to be concerned about the weather.surfnh wrote:We arrive next Saturday for 7 days.....it shows sunny all week this week, and total rain starting Saturday for 7 days!!!
This is the weather I got from weather.com for zip code 00831. It doesn't look bad at all. It'll be fine; really.

Ha! That's it, I was looking at accuweather, should have looked at weather.com! First rule of thumb, always stick with most favorable forecast. Lets hope accuweather is not too accu!
It's funny, I'm always telling everyone else to ignore the STJ forecast.....but when it's affecting us, then we can't help but look.

I always recommend using a local site -- www.weathercarib.com
I know it has a lot of different connected sites but really unless there is some major system - and you will be able to see it on the satellite links - which you can put in motion - there will not be week of bad weather -- this site covers the Atlantic all the way to Africa if you want to look into the future - the NWS forecasts and discussions are very informative -- the radar is up to the minute live action - getting a simple POP from and Accuweather or other site is usually inclusive of Puerto Rico which has a very different micro climate and very different LOCAL weather than the very small and Much less elevation in the VI.

Thanks. I've used this site in the past but couldn't find the link yesterday. Correct the discussion part is really good!Exit Zero wrote:I always recommend using a local site -- www.weathercarib.com
