trying to attach pictures to my trip report!
Finally got around to putting together a trip report from 2 weeks ago but no matter what I do, I cannot get those darn pictures to show up in the report! I have had help from Anthony, looked up tips from past threads, to no avail. I have pictures on Picasa and facebook and even though I follow directions, the link shows up instead of the pictures. Any other ideas before I give up and post it without pictures? Thanks if you can help!

For my recent report, I hosted my photos on my Facebook page. Then, I used the Img button just above the box where you enter text and clicked it after I put my cursor where I want a picture in my report. You'll see the following:

Then go to your photo (I found that I had to view my Facebook photos the old-fashioned way, with the white background. You can do that by pressing F5 while viewing your photos.) On my Mac, I place the cursor on the picture, hold down the Control button, and select "Copy Image Location".
Go back to your trip report and paste the Image Location right after the [img]
Now, click the button which now reads Img* and it'll place a closing command that looks like this

select your image. not the thumbnail view the full view.
over to the right click link to this photo
you want to embed image but first change the size to medium. I think medium works best here.
check the box that says image only (no link)
now copy the code that is in the "embed image" box.
come over to this forum and in the body of your post click the IMG button above. then paste your code. then click IMG again. then preview to see if your image is there. if it is it worked!
