Casa Del Sol

Well, I am about to send a deposit for this Villa for 11/15 thru 11/26.
I tried to find No. Shore, Catherinburg but most were taken...or too$$$ dear for this trip. Needed 4 Bdrms.
I am accustomed to Great Cruz Bay area but this seems to have easy enough access.
Just thought I would post for any comments. The villa itself is stunning and the Intro rates made it possible.
This will be our 1st Villa on St John, 5th trip.
Thanks for any feedback!

Liz,

I'll be staying there in May for 2 weeks. It is my favorite villa on island. We had our wedding reception there in 2001 so we're super excited to get to spend our 10 year anniversary there.

What do you want to know? It's the bomb.

Amazing views, gorgeously decorated. My sister called it Ralph Lauren meets the Caribbean.

We stopped and visited it when we were there in January - it's as amazing as the last time we stayed there in 2005.

Do you have specific questions?

Thanks, Nancy. I guess I just wanted to hear that!
I like to make early morning trips to Trunk Bay and Leinster is a favorite..so I knew I was adding on a bit more of a drive..but then it looks like I could do Centerline straight to Leinster and avoid town if needed.
I am very excited and can't imagine not loving that place. It is a bit of a splurge as we are not sharing cost..but it's a celebration and very worth it.
Have fun next month!

Liz,

Yes, just cut up Giftt Hill Road (104) and a right to Centerline - it's very simple from there to head to Leinster.

It's definitely worth the splurge - enjoy!

Lucky you, Pia! Are the old owners totally off island at this point in time?

As far as I know yes as the parties I went to there were not with the owners but the caretakers for the home :)

Liz,
I will second the opinion of how nice this villa is.We stayed there 5 times in a row back in the early 2000's and loved it everytime. The pool area is my favorite of all the places we have stayed.
