Purchase of the Day!

Post by EagleRayLover »

While we were getting a new camera in Mongoose Junction today, we saw a lovely couple negotiating the price of a$12K diamond and sapphire necklace.... a present for their Corgi!! maybe they need to adopt me! Our salesman got a bummed deal on that commission!! :D :D

That's several weeks on STJ for us! NOT dog jewelry.

I prefer to buy "island dog" collars for my furry kiddos at SJ Spice, or maybe some treats at St, Johnanimals...

We didn't see any big yachts but we were in North Haulover for our snorkeling adventures. I thought our son, Jason was going to flip out. It was one of things that make you just wonder about people! 8)

Interesting dichotomy there - they were negotiating, which indicates they are smart with their money, yet the item they were purchasing was for a dog. I guess when you get to the point where you have so much money you don't know what to do with it, that's the kind of stuff you do with it. My guess is the Animal Shelter there could probably put that money to good use.
A mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open.

I think if I were the sales person I would have found a way to very politely suggest a donation to the ACC in addition to their purchase. :D

How very sad. Here's hoping they're very generous with their charitable givings and this was simply chump change. I'm guessing the dog doesn't get to wear that jewellry outside the house.

I wish this was an April Fool's joke.

And I thought people pushing dogs in doggy strollers was bad......
