Really missing a ticker...
I've been lurking extensively lately and I'm really missing a ticker. My wife and I made our first trip in June '09 and really 'got it' and decided we were bringing the kids. Surprisingly, or not, it happened the very next summer June '10. We had secretly hoped to be able to put together another trip this summer, but another opportunity came up with our church choir (which the kids are now old enough to be doing with us) and we will be in England for 7 days this June. We just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take our 15 and 12 year olds to sing in some of the great cathedrals and churches there....alas, while this is a great opportunity for us all to share as a family, it is not going to be a relaxing trip. We'll see a ton, do a ton, and relax about NONE. LOL.
So...those of you coming and going PLEASE keep the photos and trip reports coming. I'm living vicariously through you! There exists some possibilities for surprising my wife via the potential of some unexpected bonus income later this year...so I'm holding my breath without counting any blessings! Thanks again to all who post here.
