I am not sure exactly what is in the Miss Lucy's recipe, but callaloo soup is traditionally a mix of a lot of callaloo leaves and/or spinach along with okra, cooked for a long time in stock, sometimes with salt beef or salt pork, and then pureed to make a soup. Miss Lucy's version had lump crabmeat as a garnish.

I love looking at all the food porn. You all do a beautiful job of cooking and presenting. I could never eat all of what you put on this site. Just a personal thing as I tend to be a very small eater. I prefer fish and/or chicken but really like all vegetables. Just my personal preference but I love to see all the effort you put into your meals.
