Congrats St John for First Relay for LIfe

After reading Lex's post of the The St John Tradewind, I stumbled upon an article that St John locals had their first American Cancer Society's 18 hour Relay for Life, which my family and I have been involved with at a local level for several years. I have joked with the planning committee here in town that it was my dream to come down to STJ and plan an event in St John! I was SO unbelievably excited when I read that the event occurred on Feb 19-20!
For you locals- does anyone know how the turn out was and what the final total raised was? Your entertainment sounded amazing!! I am so proud of you all for taking on such an incredible task!! way to go and don't stop now!!

I think it was On-stjohn that reported that they raised $120,000

Isn't that incredible? I heard the original goal set by the American Cancer Foundation was $8000. Way to go St. John!
