Whales!!!

Post by STTlover »

Whales were seen this week of the coast of Jost. For those of you on the islands now keep your eyes peeled!

Steve Simonsen said he heard a mother and calf calling to each other when he was diving the other day, but he didn't see them. How cool would that be!?!

Absolutely awesome! Thanks so much for sharing this. How amazing that must have been for Steve.

Very cool! I'll be on-island in May so I'm sure the "whale sightings " will increase. Don't say you weren't warned....

So could someone swim out there to those whales and ask them to stay around for another week or two? Seeing a whale in the ocean is on my bucket list!

it's a good bucket list item to have Nancy- we saw humpbacks quite close-up in Alaska and although I was freezing, I thought it was one of the coolest things ever! To see them in warm weather, while wearing a bathing suit, would almost be a ten ten moment!! :D
