Johnny Reid is Canada's #1 favourite entertainer.

He's been cleaning up at our awards shows for a few years now taking awards such as Entertainer of the Year; Album of the Year; Male artist of the year; Fan's Choice; Video of the year etc.
He's making his US debut next month on US TV and in venues in Pittsburgh, Detroit, Buffalo, Hartford, New York, Stroudsburg and Orlando. His first US album will be released on May 3.
I have had the honour of meeting this wonderful human being a few times and when I last spoke with him in October I asked him what genre the US was going to categorize him. See, he's really hard to peg. I'd say he's R&B, Soul, and Pop. However, here in Canada it was country radio who gave him a break and he's often at the top of our country radio charts (but he really isn't country, IMO).

And this will give you an idea of what he's like in concert, although this video is a couple years old and I gotta say he's really, really ramped it up a whole ton since 2009.

Anyways, if he's in your neck of the woods,consider taking in his show. I'd be very surprised if in a couple of years he's not as big as Michael Bublé.
