Deep S. Caribbean Cruise Review Part I - from a non-cruiser

Post by alw1977 »

Hi folks - we just returned from a deep Southern Caribbean cruise and I wanted to share our experiences. We do not typically cruise but wanted to see five islands we'd never been to which are harder to reach (expensive or extremely time consuming). We went to St. Croix, St. Kitts, Dominica, Grenada and Tobago.

We've been to Dominica twice, both times on Southern Caribbean cruises and we'd love to go back, but as you alluded to, getting there makes going to STJ seem like catching a bus!

Thanks for posting your report. I will be very interested to hear about how you liked the various islands. We have been on land based trips to all of the islands you visited on your cruise, except St. Croix, which is on our "to-do list".
