My family always stay there where there are too many of them to stay with us. They love it - no view and a rooster that thinks 3am is 7am but apart from that great and the units look exactly like they do online. This year they are staying at Grande Bay for the first time - the other thing is the walk can be a wee bit far for the kids (24 and 22) after a night at Woody's

It looks likes some of the units definitely have a view; did they stay in the lower units? They seem to have great, large interiors (fully air-conditioned) and the locations seems like it can't be beat (block to Frank Bay and 2 blocks to town, less to Zozo's (Gallows)?

ps: forgot to mention another attraction for us, seems that we really wouldn't need to rent a car (quick walk to town to readily-available taxis to our favorite beaches, which are all of the North Shore ones).

I've stayed there and loved it,we were in the 2 bedroom unit on the first floor. It was an easy walk to town.

Thank you for the input from those of you who have stayed there. They look VERY nice and like a great location. Did you feel perfectly safe walking to and from town after dark? Are the stairs/entries to the doors of the unit well-lit?
